Higher Education and Vocational

According to statistics, by the end of 1400, the total number of students studying at Lorestan universities ( government, Azad , Payam-e-nour,…) has reached 40174 people. There are  young, educated people in Lorestan Province that provide the workforce to work in the future projects.  The following table shows the number of students to separate departments .

Technical and vocational education

Nowadays, the success of any country entails development in various economic sectors and  to reach this goal, it is required to train skilled and efficient workforce through technical and vocational training. The technical and vocational office of Lorestan Province under the supervision of technical and vocational organization of Iran affiliated to the ministry of cooperation, labor, and social welfare is training the workforce in the following fields.

 Auto mechanics, electronics, electricity (industrial and construction), television repair, appliance repair, thermal systems, Traktor repair, accounting, carpentry, computers, pottery, motor winding, pastry, doll making, photography, camcording, carpet weaving and engraving.
