Project Description :The aim of carrying out this plan is establishment of production factory of spiral pipes in Lorestan province. One of the production methods of steel pipe is spiral method. In this method, steel pipes are produced in a spiral from sheets of different thickness. Productions of spiral pipes are available in sizes of 5 to 120 inches and in roll form. The use of these pipes in the gas and oil industries has been considered for various reasons, including the flexibility of the manufacturing process, uniformity of dimensions, suitable mechanical properties, economic issues, and more. Due to the increasing use of steel pipes in the oil and gas industry, it seems necessary to study the performance of these pipes and research on their defects.
